People ask these first.
Do I need an account?
No. Choosing a style, editing tokens, exporting, and share links do not require a login.
Is my design uploaded?
Not by default. The project stays in this browser. A share link puts the project in the URL hash, and the hash is not sent to the server. A community submission sends text to GitHub only after you confirm it. See the privacy page.
Which agents can use it?
Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Stitch, and Windsurf. Each keeps rules in a different file. The guide pages include a snippet you can copy.
Why are some headings still English?
The eight section titles and YAML keys stay in English so the file matches Google's DESIGN.md spec. The overview, rules, and component notes follow the selected language.
Can I change colors and then export?
Yes. Open a style in the editor, change tokens and blocks, then export. Applying only colors or only type does not replace the whole layout.
